113th Yates Cup to air on CHCH TV and stream live on YouTube

Ontario University Athletics (OUA) and Channel Zero have announced that CHCH-TV will be the official broadcaster of the 113th Yates Cup.
The Queen’s Gaels will host the Western Mustangs in the historic championship game of the OUA football conference.
Coverage of the Yates Cup kicks off on Saturday, Nov. 20 at 1 p.m. ET.
It will be available on all CHCH platforms including TV, YouTube, and www.chch.com.
“We’re thrilled to be returning to television to culminate a successful OUA season,” said Gord Grace, President & CEO of Ontario University Athletics. “It has been an exceptional 2021 season in many regards, so to celebrate our return to gridiron and this exciting next chapter in the illustrious Yates Cup history books with this championship broadcast means a great deal to everyone involved.”
“The province-wide reach of our station and the growth of our digital platforms makes CHCH the perfect place for OUA football. We’re looking forward to the game,” said Romen Podzyhun, CEO, Channel Zero.
The 113th edition of the OUA football championship will feature a rematch of the thrilling 2009 finale between the Gaels and Mustangs.
The backdrop for Saturday’s contest will be the beautiful Richardson Stadium in Kingston, Ont., where the host Gaels will look to cap off an undefeated season with their 24th Yates Cup victory in program history and the visiting Mustangs set their sights on an OUA-best 33rd title in what will be their sixth straight appearance in the championship game.
