1005 Accepts tentative deal with U.S. Steel
It looks as though U.S. Steel workers are finally going back to work after a debilitating 11 and a half month-long lock out.
Members were coming and going all day from the Steelworkers Local 1005 hall, casting votes on whether to accept the latest contract offer from U.S. Steel. A fairly small majority – 61 percent – said yes to going back to work.
