1 man arrested following Halton police investigation in Burlington

Halton police say one man has been taken into police custody following an investigation in Burlington on Saturday afternoon.

Around 12:30 p.m., tactical officers were seen surrounding the townhomes on Hazelton Boulevard in the typically quiet neighbourhood of Brant Hills.

There are limited details available, but police say one man was taken into custody.

Police say they can not reveal the reason for the arrest due to an ongoing investigation. The man was taken from the scene by an ambulance.

There is no concern for public safety and the scene was cleared before 3 p.m.
