Ontario Provincial Police are investigating after one person was killed in a single-vehicle collision on Highway 3 in Wainfleet Thursday morning.
Police say the collision occurred just after 9 a.m. on Highway 3 between Zion Road and Smith Road.
In a post to social media, OPP Kerry Schimdt said a single vehicle collided with a tree, resulting in the driver being pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say the deceased remains unidentified and the OPP-HSD Traffic Support Unit is assisting with the investigation.
Highway 3 was closed for several hours while the collision reconstruction unit investigated, but has since reopened.
