A new home for CHCH

First Published:

Tim Bolen took a tour of CHCH’s new home.

Today marked a new chapter at CHCH TV. The station moved to its brand new, permanent home in a rapidly growing part of suburban Hamilton: fittingly called 4 Innovation Drive. In 2021, CHCH said goodbye to the only home CHCH TV had ever previously known: Jackson Street West in downtown Hamilton, which dated back to the station’s beginnings in June 7th, 1954. We proudly preserved and packed our 67 years of history, and today was the debut of a new era.

The Innovation drive office will transform how we work at CHCH TV to bring our audience more news, information and entertainment than ever before. With new technology and a focus on expanding our digital coverage, we’re excited for the future of news in Hamilton, Halton, Niagara and beyond.

The news is done out of Studio South, which features 3,500 sq. ft. of fully digital and 4k-ready broadcast space. The set is complete with a 360-degree anchor desk, fully adaptable lighting, and more floor space than our last two studios combined.

We are all very excited for this new chapter and hope you tune in and enjoy.
