Three-year old left in car

York Regional Police have charged a 39-year old Toronto man with child abandonment after a 3-year old girl was left alone in a parked car in minus-14 degree temperatures.  Police found the girl asleep in the vehicle around 40 minutes after her father went shopping at the Costco in Markham Tuesday night.  The girl was fine.  But the Children’s Aid Society has been brought in.  The man is scheduled to appear in court next month.
