The Westfield Heritage Village Maple Syrup Festival kicked off in Rockton Sunday.

Program coordinator, Lisa Hunter, said she expects this season will be a good one.

The village will be hosting fun and educational programs throughout the year.

The festival will be open again next Sunday and again Wednesday and Thursday during March Break.
