Gun found in stuffed animal

A surprise find for police responding to an emergency call for a welfare check. When police arrived at the home in Niagara-On-The-Lake, they found a handgun, rifle, several rounds of ammunition, a rifle magazine and a crossbow.

At the time they arrested 25 year old Graig Rivette who lived in the house with his girlfriend, 25 year old Amy Skelton and his 2 children.

Police came back with search warrant and found a handgun hidden in a bin of stuffed animals and a loaded 9 millimetre magazine in a box of cookies.
