Flood watches are issued across Southern Ontario after another day of rain

After record rainfalls in May, many were hoping a hot June would normalize the high water levels in lakes and streams in Southern Ontario. But some areas in and around Hamilton got as much as 5 centimetres of rain overnight and into this morning.
