Boy, 12, falls from sixth floor apartment balcony

Toronto police are investigating after a 12-year-old boy fell from a sixth floor apartment balcony.

Police say the boy landed on a patch of grass and was conscious when emergency crews arrived.

The circumstances around the fall are still unknown but at this point police are treating it as a misadventure.

The boy is currently in hospital with serious injuries.
