Baby of woman shot has died

 
There’s a tragic development in the case of a baby who was delivered prematurely after his mother was fatally shot in Toronto last May.

Toronto Police have issued a brief statement saying the infant son of Candice Rochelle Bobb died Sunday night in hospital and the family is asking for privacy.

The baby was was initially listed in serious but stable condition and the family announced the baby boy was gaining weight but on Sunday evening his condition took a turn for the worse and the child was pronounced dead at 7 pm.

Bobb was 5 months pregnant when she was shot in Toronto’s West End while returning home from watching a basketball game.

Police continue to ask for help from the public in finding whoever is responsible. no arrests have been made in the case.
