Oxy withdrawal: four months later
It’s been 4 months since the province pulled the plug on the highly addictive painkiller Oxycontin.
Addiction counsellors applauded the move to de-list the drug, but also feared oxy would simply be replaced by another substance. Has it happened? Experts say it’s still too early to see the true fallout. Maria Hayes explains.
