We could be one step closer to having a nicotine vaccine.
Researchers have developed a vaccine that binds to nicotine in the blood stream, and prevents it from getting to the brain.
When mice were exposed to the same amount of nicotine found in two cigarettes, those given the vaccine didn’t show any symptoms of nicotine exposure, and they had less nicotine in their brains.
