Neil Lumsden joins Brock University

Brock University has named a new Director, Athletics and Recreation.

Neil Lumsden who is a Canadian Football Hall of Famer, has won 3 Grey Cups as an Edmonton Eskimos player and another as the General Manager of the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

He will begin is tenure at Brock University, February 15.

Brock University says Lumsden’s leadership will help make Brock a “preferred place to be when it comes to sports excellence and achievement.”

Lumsden retired from professional football in 1985. He had a very successful career in sports management. He worked for the Ottawa Rough Riders before joining the Ticats front office and then went on to serve as President of a successful sport marketing agency.

The University says Lumsden’s event management background will help lead Brock to host more large-scale sporting events.
