
High tech eye strain
With all the high tech gadgets out there, many of us are experiencing more and more eye strain from staring at a screen all day.
According to the Canadian Association of Optometrists, vision problems are a growing issue for people who are glued to computers, tablets and smart phones.
A 2009 Canadian survey finds as many as 40% of baby boomers report computer-related eye strain and other issues, and it’s increasingly common among kids also.
To avoid eye problems, blink more often, use eye drops and take a break every 20 minutes.
