U.S. job numbers

Meanwhile, out of work Americans seem to be finding jobs, or they’re giving up looking, and it’s brought the unemployment rate down to 8.6%.

That’s the lowest its been since March 2009.

It’s likely thanks to holiday hiring, since more than half the jobs added last month were by retailers, restaurants and bars.
