Lakeside Steel reports loss

Lakeside Steel in Welland reported a loss of $7.6 million in its latest quarter ending September 30th.

The company claims it suffered from low margins due to a number of factors, including foreign imports and higher costs.

Revenue was down more than 28%, falling to $48 million from $66.5 million.
