Pier 8 plans

After searching through 14 different developers, the city of Hamilton has narrowed its search to just 4 groups that could be the ones responsible for transforming Pier 8. Before city council makes a decision, they want to hear what Hamiltonians have to say.

“The city’s plan itself called for 1500 residential units and 13 000 square meters of commercial and institutional space all within the area. They’re really creating a brand new neighbourhood, a new community by the water.” Chris Phillips, project manager.
