Two people found dead inside Oakville home

Halton police have confirmed two people have been found dead inside a home in northeast Oakville.

Officers were called to a house on Summerhill Cres. near Bayshire Dr. around 5 a.m. Wednesday.

Police entered the home to check on the well-being of the residents and found the bodies of 69 year old Prem Singh and 70 year old Jan Singh.

Police say the shooting occurred inside the home and a gun was found.

Investigators say there is no threat to public safety and they are not looking for any suspects.
