Ontario reported 1,172 cases of COVID-19 and 67 deaths on Wednesday.
Ontario is reporting 1,172 cases of #COVID19 and over 52,400 tests completed. Locally, there are 444 new cases in Toronto, 199 in Peel and 110 in York Region.
As of 8:00 p.m. yesterday, 348,331 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered.

The numbers come as the province performed 52,400 tests. The reported positivity rate, which takes into account the date tests were performed, is 3.3 per cent.
Another 3,716 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine were administered on Tuesday. As of 8 p.m. a total of 348,331 doses have been given.
There are 74,994 people who have received both doses and are fully vaccinated.
There are 1,066 patients hospitalized with COVID-19. 336 of them are in intensive care and 254 of those are on ventilators.
The total number of resolved cases is 248,981.
The death toll is now 6,305 people.
There are 106 confirmed cases of the U.K. variant and one case of the South African variant in Ontario.
