A parliamentary committee investigating the propriety of WE charity’s ties to the federal government heard from the Prime Minister today. WE charity was asked to manage a $900M government program that would dole out tuition funds in exchange for student volunteer work. The plan collapsed when it was revealed that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s family members had received money for speaking at WE charity events. Lisa Hepfner reports.
