Starbucks to close up to 200 Canadian locations

Starbucks is planning to close up to 200 of its locations across Canada.

The move is part of a two-year restructuring plan that could see another 200 stores close in the U.S.

The company says some of the stores slated for closure will either be moved to another location or could change format.

Starbucks has already been experimenting with pick-up only locations and is also considering drive-thru and curbside pickup stores as well.

Starbucks has about 1,400 Canadian locations.
