Halton police arrested and charged three people over the weekend in connection with a video released earlier in May that shows objects thrown at passing vehicles on the QEW in Burlington.

Police say the video, posted to social media on May 10, shows two individuals who appear to be laughing on South Service Road while throwing eggs at cars in the eastbound lanes of the QEW.

On Sunday, police arrested 20-year-old Alias Ouzzine, and 18-year-old Geoffrey Prins of Burlington along with a 17-year-old boy from Oakville.

All three were charged with mischief causing danger to life.

All three have been released pending a court appearance in Milton.

Police would like to thank the public for their assistance in this investigation.
