3 more residents die from COVID-19 at Lundy Manor in Niagara Falls

Three more residents of a Niagara Falls retirement home have died as COVID-19 continues to spread through long term care facilities in the province.

A spokesperson from Oxford Living which owns Lundy Manor said the death toll at the facility has no reached 18.

Last Tuesday, the home said 41 residents and eight staff members had tested positive for the virus.

“At this time, our singular focus remains protecting the health and safety of our residents and staff and we continue to work closely with Niagara Regional Public Health and the RHRA in this regard,” said Tim Foster, Vice President, Strategy and Business Development.
Foster thanked the staff for their “ongoing and tireless efforts” during the pandemic.

Lundy Manor is one of several long term care or retirement homes in Niagara Region with a COVID-19 outbreak.
