Travel advisory in effect for Hamilton, Halton due to winter weather

Environment Canada has issued a winter weather travel advisory for Hamilton and Halton Region.

The weather agency says poor driving conditions due to accumulating snow will likely affect Tuesday’s morning commute.

Snow and some light freezing rain will continue to pass over Southern Ontario throughout the morning. Around four to eight centimeters of snow is expected to fall by the time the snow tapers to rain or drizzle.

Motorists are being advised to allow extra time to reach their destinations.
