63-year-old Port Colborne man arrested for child pornography offences

A 63-year-old man from Port Colborne has been arrested for child pornography offences following the execution of a search warrant at a home on Friday.

Niagara police carried out a search warrant at a Port Colborne home and seized digital devices capable of storing electronic data.

Don Victor Herbert, 63, of Port Colborne was arrested and is charged with possession of child pornography, accessing child pornography, and making child pornography available.

Herbert was held in custody pending a bail hearing at the courthouse in St. Catharines.
