The City of Hamilton is working to repair two separate water main breaks Wednesday morning, with crews not expected to wrap up until late in the afternoon.
City officials tweeted about the water main breaks just after 8 a.m., saying the first break is in Dundas near 686 York Rd.
The water main break is causing the closure of York Rd. from Old Guelph Rd. to Newman Rd., with work expected to wrap up by 5 p.m.

Hamilton Water officials say the second break is in Ancaster near 154 Wilson St. East.
There will be ongoing lane restrictions on Wilson St. E from Jerseyville Rd. East to Sulphur Spring Rd. while repairs are being made.
Bike lanes on Wilson St. East are also closed and work is expected to be finished by 3 p.m. on Wednesday.

The water main break in Dundas is affecting some Burlington residents in the Bridgeview community as well.
Halton region staff say they are currently notifying impacted properties.
