The Beer Store to attempt Guinness World Record across Ontario on Saturday

The Beer Store is looking to set a Guinness World Record on Saturday for the most amount of containers returned in a 24-hour period.

The historic attempt is only happening on Oct. 17 at stores across Ontario.

As an incentive to encourage participation, customers will receive 20 per cent more value on their empty returns and can earn an extra 10 per cent on returns through the app.

The Beer Store says this promotion is only applicable to empty alcohol containers purchased in Ontario returned for deposit refund at Beer Store retail locations.

It says kegs are excluded from this promotional offer. This promotion is only valid at participating Beer Store retail locations.
