Officers say Dale Merritt was reported missing on Aug. 6, though he was last seen during the final week of July in St. Catharines.

Investigators say efforts to find Merrit have provided no new leads and his whereabouts remains unknown. Police do believe that he may have left the Niagara region.

Merritt is described as a white man who is five-foot-10 tall with a medium build, black and grey brush cut hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to contact the Niagara Regional Police Service’s 1 District CIB at 905-688-4111, option 3, ext. 1029865.

To provide information anonymously, contact Crime Stoppers of Niagara online or at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
