Jessy Davis, general manager at a Hamilton McDonald’s, has been awarded a 2026 Ray Kroc Award.
Davis works at the 674 Queenston Rd. location and has been recognized as one of the top one per cent of restaurant managers worldwide.
She started working for McDonald’s 18 years ago, starting as a crew member at this location.
Davis found her passion working in the drive-thru where the pacing was quick and she could interact with guests directly.
Her ability to connect with her team by listening to their concerns and applying them led to her becoming a crew trainer and then a general manager in 2021.

“To win this award is a bit overwhelming. It’s such a big award, recognized around the world! My crew and I are passionate about continuously growing and improving. I’m so grateful to them and to my leadership for believing in me and providing me with growth opportunities.”
Every two years, McDonald’s franchisees and regional leaders globally nominate their most outstanding restaurant managers for the Ray Kroc Award.
“Jessy has made an incredible impact on our restaurant team and guests with her strong leadership and unwavering commitment,” says Stacie Maskell, human resources manager for local McDonald’s franchisee Glen Steeves.
“She is a passionate and people-focused general manager who leads by example, inspires her team and is genuinely committed to developing others and helping them reach their full potential. This award truly speaks to Jessy and her team’s hard work and we’re so proud of her.”
This year, there were a total of 13 Ray Kroc Award winners from Canada, including four in Ontario.
