GO Transit adding extra Lakeshore West trains for CNE

GO Transit is adjusting train schedules on the Lakeshore West line to help riders get to the Canadian National Exhibition (CNE) faster from Aug. 21 – Sept. 7.

Commuters Travelling to Union Station

Trains departing Aldershot GO between 9:06 a.m. and 5:03 p.m. will leave one minute earlier.

Trains leaving West Harbour GO between 9:25 a.m. and 3:26 p.m. will depart one minute earlier.

Riders leaving Exhibition GO will now have additional train options scheduled to depart at 10:21 a.m., 1:21 p.m., 2:51 p.m., 4:29 p.m., 5:21 p.m., 5:51 p.m. and 6:43 p.m.

The 11:10 a.m. train leaving Confederation GO will depart one minute earlier.

The 10:24 p.m. train departing West Harbour GO, which usually only runs on Fridays, will run every day of the week during the CNE.

As for the weekend, there will now be a train leaving Exhibition GO at 1:21 p.m.

Commuters Travelling From Union Station

GO Transit has added a 9:32 a.m. train from Union Station, arriving at Exhibition GO at 9:46 a.m.

Trains between 3:50 p.m. and 5:29 p.m. will depart two minutes earlier and stop at Exhibition GO.

The 10:07 p.m. train to Niagara Falls GO will leave 11 minutes earlier, making stops at Mimico, Long Branch, Clarkson, Bronte and Appleby GO.

From Monday to Thursday only, a train to Oakville GO will run at 12:17 a.m. and arrive at 1:05 a.m.

As for the weekend, there will be 1:59 p.m., 2:35 p.m. and 2:59 p.m. trains departing Union Station to Exhibition GO, arriving at 2:13 p.m., 2:51 p.m. and 3:13 p.m.

Travelling From Exhibition GO

Trains departing between 10:24 a.m. and 10:15 p.m. will leave one minute later.
