Talks between Canada and the U.S. have intensified since Donald trump signed an executive order on July 20 to impose 50 per-cent tariffs on a range of Canadian goods worth around $28 billion.  These include exports of honey, hockey sticks, cement, wine, and flowers. According to Ontario flower growers, 50 per-cent of flower production across Canada is shipped to the U.S, and there simply are not enough buyers in Canada to make up for the impact massive tariffs will have on the industry.
