Hamilton’s Turkstra Lumber donates $10K towards Niagara flood relief
As part of a widespread community effort to support those affected by the recent floods, Hamilton’s Turkstra Lumber has donated $10,000 towards Niagara flood relief.
Turkstra also announced they are launching a customer discount program that will help Niagara homeowners rebuild after the floods.
This is all part of Feed Niagara’s Day of Giving campaign, with some participating radio stations reporting over $35,000 raised, while others reported over $40,000 was raised for flood victims.
Ontario Corps partner Team Rubicon Canada is also helping residents deal with the flooding aftermath.
