Dog agility trial brings competitors from Ontario, Quebec to Ancaster

The humidity didn’t stop quick and nimble canines from doing what they love at an agility trial in Ancaster on Saturday.

Hosted by PHD Dog Sports, the weekend affair showcases energetic dogs and their devoted handlers from across Ontario and Quebec.

The goal is to qualify for an American invitational event and the Canadian Open.

The competition continued Sunday until 4 p.m. at Ancaster Fairgrounds.

Next August, PHD Dog Sports will host the Canadian Open at the same location, with 650 dogs expected to attend.
