Six Nations police arrest man, woman after drug trafficking investigation

Six Nations police have arrested and charged a man and a woman following a drug trafficking investigation.

According to authorities, search warrants were executed on multiple vehicles, a property on Dundas Street in Brantford and a property on Highway 54 near Chiefswood Road in Six Nations.

During the searches, police seized approximately 307 grams of cocaine, $15,000 in currency and one imitation firearm.

As a result, one man was taken into custody without incident. A woman was later arrested and charged.

Jayme Christopher Hill, 37, of Ohsweken has been charged with the following:

• Possession for the purposes of trafficking – cocaine
• Proceeds of crime over $5,000
• Fail to comply probation order (two counts)

Carleigh Susan Devuyst, 26, of Brantford has been charged with the following offences:

• Possession for the purposes of trafficking – cocaine
• Proceeds of crime over $5,000
