Police identify two suspects in fatal shooting of Niagara Falls man

Police have identified two suspects involved in a Niagara Falls shooting that left a 35-year-old man dead.

On July 16 at approximately 8:40 p.m., officers responded to a residence on Thorold Stone Road near Dorchester Road for reports of a man who had been shot.

Investigators determined that two suspects attended the residence and shot the victim with a handgun. The shooting victim was taken to hospital where he later died.

The victim was later identified as 35-year-old Mitchell Snoddon of Niagara Falls.

Police say they have identified 23-year-old Maroof Bangi and 30-year-old Josta Grace Macneal as the two suspects involved in the fatal shooting.

They are both wanted for second degree murder.

Detectives believe Bangi and Macneal are likely operating a black 2021 Mazda CX5 with Ontario license plate DDEC 774.

Authorities say a white Nissan Rogue involved in the shooting has been recovered.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Bangi and Macneal are asked to contact police at 905-688 4111, option 3, ext. 1009134.

Members of the public are being advised not to approach either of the suspects and immediately call 911.
