"This walk is all about listening, collecting sounds, and experiencing the trail in a different way.
Instead of rushing through the landscape, we’ll slow down and tune into the sounds around us: birds, wind, water, insects, leaves, footsteps, distant voices, and anything else the place has to say. Along the way, we’ll record small sound moments that help capture what this place feels like in real time.
You do not need to know anything about nature to join.
This walk is for young people ages 18–23 who want to get outside, meet people, and reconnect with the simple joy of being in nature.
Prime Earth is a locally based nonprofit helping young people grow their personal power and use it to protect and restore the Earth. Through PowerSeekers, we’re hosting beginner-friendly nature walks, meetups, and conservation activities this summer for young adults who want to get outside, connect with nature, and make a positive impact."
