VIDEO: Newly-elected British lawmaker, Andy Burnham, met with Prime Minister Keir Starmer Tuesday, the man he hopes to replace. Burnham is the front-runner to succeed Starmer, who announced yesterday he’d be stepping down as leader of the Labour Party after two years in office. His resignation set the U.K. on a path towards its seventh prime minister in ten years, leaving voters feeling divided. Neither side has released details about the discussion, but Burnham also met with Labour lawmakers, as he tries to build momentum for his bid.
