Halton police arrested two teen boys Friday following three carjacking incidents across Milton and Burlington.
Officers say at around 3:50 p.m., two males wearing masks allegedly approached the driver of a vehicle in the area of Derry Road and Farmstead Drive in Milton.
The suspects allegedly forcibly removed the driver from the vehicles, stole the vehicle and drove toward Burlington.
Two more carjackings happened in Burlington over the following hour, the first in the area of Britannia Road and Walkers Line at around 4:40 p.m. and the second minutes later in the area of Cedar Springs and Britannia roads.
Investigators say they were able to locate one suspect at the scene of the first Burlington carjacking at Britannia Road and Walkers Line.
The second suspect was found in the city later that evening.
Detectives say all three drivers involved in the carjackings were forcibly removed from their vehicles, with one man sustaining serious injuries as a result of the incident.
They say no weapons were seen or used during the carjackings, and all three vehicles have been recovered.
As part of the investigation, police have charged two 17-year-old boys from Milton with offences related to robbery, theft of a motor vehicle with violence, and for disguising with intent.
Both boys were held in custody pending a bail hearing in Milton.
No details surrounding the teens have been provided, adhering to the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
