OPP finds no evidence of wrongdoing by officers in Umar Zameer case

In Toronto, three officers accused of lying by a judge during the murder trial involving their colleague were cleared of any wrongdoing by the Ontario Provincial Police. The OPP released investigative findings, which say there is no evidence that the officers committed perjury and obstruction of justice when they recounted the night Detective Constable Jeffrey Northrup died after he was struck by a vehicle in a parking garage in 2021
