More GO train cancellations ahead this weekend, detours planned

People looking to take the GO train this weekend should plan ahead as Metrolinx has scheduled another weekend of construction that may cause disruptions to your commute.

GO trains will not be running between Oakville GO and Exhibition GO. Bus connections will be available from Oakville and Clarkson GO to Bramalea GO where passengers can connect to the Kitchener Line to get to Union Station.

Metrolinx says this is due to construction work being done to replace that Etobicoke Creek bridge.

Trains will run normally between Niagara Falls and Oakville GO.
