Hamilton police charged three people Friday in connection with break-ins at farms in the rural parts of the city earlier this summer.
Officers say between late August to October, a group of suspects travelled to farms, targeting farm stores and stealing cash receipts.
Investigators arrested three people at several Toronto-area addresses without incident.
Hamilton police have charged Marius Miclescu, Jenica Velcu and Ghetisoara Nistor each with offences including breaking and entering with intent and conspiracy to commit an indictable offence.
Detectives say each person was already subject to release conditions for similar previous offences.
Officers did not provide further details for each suspect — including where each person lived, gender, or age.
Each person was held for a bail hearing.
Police say they are continuing the investigation and ask anyone with information to call 905-546-4925.
