Pedestrian dies in Niagara Falls morning collision

A man has died following a motor-vehicle collision in Niagara Falls this morning.

Thorold Stone Road was closed between Portage Road and Sinnicks Avenue, and Carroll Avenue was closed between Thorold Stone Road and Elizabeth Street due to the investigation.

Police were called to the scene around 8:20 a.m. The pedestrian had life-threatening injuries and was transported to hospital.

Thorold Stone Road and Carroll Avenue reopened shortly before 1 p.m.
