Brantford police are searching for three suspects following an overnight car theft between Nov. 7 and 8.
Police were called on Saturday after the victim discovered both his and his wife’s cars had been rummaged through — no damage was reported to either vehicle.
The victim advised that his brown leather wallet was missing from his car which contained personal items including a driver’s license, health card, gift cards, receipts, a CIBC debit card, and a photo of his daughter.
Since the theft, three unauthorized transactions of approximately $90 each were made using the debit card at a Circle K convenience store on Erie Avenue in Brantford.
The theft is believed to have happened between 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.
There is no surveillance footage of the theft itself, however, images of three suspects captured on Circle K’s security cameras have been shared to assist with identification.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact Brant County OPP at 1-888-310-1122, or reach out to Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477 or online at crimestoppersbb.com.
