Toyota issues recall over defective rearview camera

Toyota is recalling more than 33,000 SUV’s and trucks over a defective rearview camera which could increase the risk of a crash.

The recall includes all sequoia SUV’s from 2023 to 2025 and all tundra trucks, including hybrids, from 2022 to 2025 with a 14-inch multimedia display.

Transport Canada says the cameras might not be able to display correctly or at all.

Owners with an affected model should have their vehicle inspected at a Toyota dealer.
