Israel facing EU sanctions after heavy airstrikes against Yemen’s capital Sanaa

Israel has launched another round of heavy airstrikes against Yemen’s Houthi rebels.

The strikes hit a fuel station in Sanaa and a government facility.

The Houthi-run health ministry says at least 9 people died and 118 others were wounded.

Meanwhile, the President for the European Commission plans to seek sanctions against Israel over the Gaza conflict, which has already isolated Israel globally.

The EU is divided on this approach, and it’s uncertain if a majority will support the sanctions.
