Brantford police seek white SUV involved in hit-and-run that sent one to hospital

Police say a person on a mobility scooter in Brantford was hit by a vehicle in the area of Marlborough and Clarence Streets Monday evening.

Officers say it happened at around 6:15 p.m. when a white SUV had hit the mobility scooter, before turning southbound on Clarence Street and fleeing the scene.

They say one person was found and brought to hospital with minor injuries.

Investigators believe the collision has caused damage to the front left side of the SUV.
