Burlington woman hospitalized after minivan-motorcycle collision in Oakville

Halton police are investigating a serious crash in Oakville between a minivan and a motorcycle that sent a Burlington woman to hospital.

The collision occurred around 10:35 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of Dundas Street East and Sixth Line and closed some of the road until 3 a.m. Friday.

Police say a 52-year-old man in a Honda minivan was turning left when the vehicle collided with a motorcycle operated by a 23-year-old woman.

She was taken to a trauma centre with life-threatening injuries, but is now stable.

The Collision Reconstruction Unit has taken over the investigation.
