One person hospitalized after morning house fire in Burlington
A person has been taken to hospital following a house fire in Burlington early this morning.
The blaze broke out around 2:30 a.m. at 1145 Stanley Drive just north of the QEW.
Five people were in the home at the time of the incident and damages are estimated to be $750,000.
Halton police say there’s no indication of the fire being suspicious and that it appears to have started from the back deck area.
A detached garage at the rear of the home was also destroyed and a house next door was also damaged from the flames.
The Office of the Fire Marshal has been called in to investigate.
