Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce announce engagement on Instagram

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have announced their engagement in a five-photo joint post on Instagram.

“Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married,” the caption of the post says.

Swift and Kelce, both 35, seemed to have gotten engaged in a floral garden.

Kelce claims the “love story” started when he visited the Era’s Tour at Arrowhead Stadium where he plays for the Kansas City Chiefs.

The football player said on his podcast with his brother Jason that he attempted and failed to meet Swift and give her a personalized bracelet with his number on it.

Then, only a few months later, the pop superstar was seen at one of his games in September 2023 with his mother Donna.

Swift was seen cheering the Chief tight end when he scored a touchdown on from his suite, the two were even seen walking out together after the game.

The 14-time Grammy winner said in an interview with Time Magazine, that the two had already been dating for some time when she attended the game and that she was happy they had the chance to get to know each other before sharing their relationship with the world.
